Welcome to the Lemon Grove Chamber of Commerce website. We are a very active Chamber of Commerce with a Board of Directors having 18 seats.

The Lemon Grove Chamber of Commerce office located in a replica of the original 1892 railroad depot now located at the Downtown Trolley Stop. The first merchant association for Lemon Grove was the Lemon Grove Fruit Growers Association which began in 1894 when Lemon Grove had a population of 76 and the town was a sea of Lemon Trees.

Today the Lemon Grove Chamber of Commerce holds quarterly networking meetings where businesses can network, exchange ideas and show off there products and services. There is an Annual Installation and Leadership Awards Dinner held in March each year where local businesses and citizens are recognized for their accomplishments and scholarships are given to outstanding students.

Other festivities include Casino Night, Bowling Tournaments, Food Tasting by local restaurants and an annual Business-to-Business mixer.

Come to Lemon Grove and see our "Big Lemon" in the center of town and while you are here you will see why Lemon Grove has the "Best Climate on Earth".

Mission

The Lemon Grove Chamber of Commerce services the community of Lemon Grove primarily, as well as non-residents by acting as a voice of the business and operators. For the purpose of providing the highest quality of business, which in turn supply the products and services, needed and wanted by the market served.

Goals: The Chamber provides services to its members to enhance their competitive advantages and to promote and support the growth of the community. The service includes:

• Gathering and disseminating information relating to the operating environment, which will be useful for assessing trends, demographics market dynamics.
• Active recruitment of businesses to join the Chamber and encourage new businesses to operate in Lemon Grove.
• Advocacy with government and other related agencies; serve as a resource to special agencies
• Business education to enhance the efficiency of the member businesses
• Networking opportunities
• Promotion of the Lemon Grove business community through referrals and advertising.

The Chamber executes its mission utilizing the combined effort of all concerned parties including the city government, business owners and operators, residents and service organization. We conduct our operations prudently, and provide the fiscal supervision that assures the Chamber ultimate and ongoing success. We are responsible to the community, in which we work and live. We are responsive to the general desires for improvement of quality of life, equal opportunity for all and constructive use of natural resources.

We believe that a strong business community of Lemon Grove assists in providing values and spirit to those who reside in the community.
